As we look towards the future and building on our successes, the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) remains focused on: co-investing in innovation platforms, commercializing innovation, creating an entrepreneurial environment with access to financing; and creating prosperity by boosting productivity and diversification.
This year's Report on Plans and Priorities, provides an opportunity to highlight the launch of the Southern Ontario Prosperity Initiatives, the Advanced Manufacturing Fund and the recent extension of the Eastern Ontario Development Program and the Economic Development Initiative. Supporting an innovative and competitive southern Ontario remains the core mandate of FedDev Ontario, and the Agency's new programming suite provides the tools necessary to meet our goals.
We will continue to work collaboratively with government, businesses, industry and communities to build a strong and prosperous southern Ontario for years to come.
President (Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario)
