Recreational Infrastructure Canada Program in Ontario

All funding for this program has been committed.

In addition to $33 billion the Government of Canada had already committed to infrastructure across Canada, Budget 2009 provided almost $12 billion in new stimulus funding over two years. This included $500 million over two years for the Recreational Infrastructure Canada program to support upgrading and renewal of recreational facilities in communities. The federal allocation for Ontario was $195 million.

FedDev Ontario was responsible for delivering the RInC Program in Ontario in partnership with the Government of Ontario.

More than 765 projects were approved for a joint federal-provincial investment of nearly $382 million.
