National Research Council Canada- Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP)

Partnership initiatives have been undertaken with the National Research Council Canada (NRC) an organization with proven program delivery track records. Funding is for 2009-10, and will flow directly to the NRC to deliver the funding.

The NRC will use its Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP) to deliver $27.5 million in 2009-2010. The program provides direct financing support to Southern Ontario firms and organizations for business research and development, with an emphasis on enhancing the innovation and commercialization capacity of small and medium-sized firms.
