Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC)

Partnership initiatives have been undertaken with the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) an organization with proven program delivery track records. Funding is for 2009-10, and will flow directly to the BDC to deliver the funding.

To strengthen this presence, the government has injected $50 million worth of capital into the BDC to support early stage venture capital activities in Southern Ontario.
