Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC)

Partnership initiatives were undertaken with the Business Development Bank of Canada, (BDC) an organization with a proven program delivery track record. Funding was for 2009-2010, and flowed directly to the BDC to deliver the funding.

To strengthen this presence, the Government injected $50 million worth of capital into the BDC to support early stage venture capital activities in southern Ontario.
