In January 2012, Jeff Moore was named Vice -President of Policy, Partnerships and Performance Management. Prior to this, and since the creation of the Agency in August 2009, Mr. Moore was the Vice-President of Infrastructure and Intergovernmental Affairs.
Mr. Moore has had a very accomplished career in the federal government spanning approximately 20 years. He has held various positions, such as the Director of Research and Development at Health Canada, Director of the James Bay Implementation Office at Indian and Northern Affairs Canada and Director General of Aboriginal Relations Office at Human Resources and Skills Development Canada.
At Industry Canada, Mr. Moore was Executive Director for various offices starting in Aboriginal Business Canada, followed by moves to Technology Partnerships Canada and the Industrial Technologies Office. He then became the Director General of Sector Programs and Operations.
Mr. Moore attended the University of Ottawa, where he obtained a bachelor of science in biochemistry, a bachelor's degree in physiology and a master's degree in physiology.
The Policy, Partnership and Performance Management team is responsible for delivering strategic policy advice, internal audit and evaluation services as well as building and maintaining intergovernmental and stakeholder relations, in order to proactively advocate and promote the economy in southern Ontario.
